Information you give us

When you contact us, request a quote, or book an appointment, we may collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• Which office you would like to visit
• Details about the items you want to sell, including photographs you upload
• Anything else you choose to include in a message to us

Identification required to sell to us

Buyers of precious metals and secondhand jewelry are required by state and local law to record the identity of every seller. If you sell an item to us, we will ask to see a valid government-issued photo ID and will record identifying information from it along with a description of the items purchased and the amount paid. We cannot complete a purchase without this. These records are kept as required by law and may be made available to law enforcement.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps, in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse. This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run advertising pixels or cross-site trackers on it.

How we use your information

• To respond to your questions and prepare a quote or offer for your items
• To schedule and confirm appointments
• To complete a purchase and issue payment
• To keep the transaction records that the law requires us to keep

We keep the number of third parties to a minimum. The ones that may handle information you submit are:

• Zoho Forms — hosts our quote form and receives the details and photos you submit through it.
• Google — provides the appointment booking calendar and the web fonts used on this site.
• Our website host — serves the pages and keeps standard server logs.

These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We disclose information only in these situations:

• To the service providers listed above, so they can perform their function
• To law enforcement and regulators, where reporting is required of precious metal and secondhand goods dealers, or in response to a lawful request
• To our professional advisers (for example, accountants or lawyers) where necessary
• Where you have asked us to share it

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a transaction are kept only as long as needed to answer them. Purchase records and the seller identification tied to them are retained for the period required by the precious-metal and secondhand-dealer rules that apply to each of our locations, and then securely destroyed.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection with a strict content security policy. Physical records and identification details are kept secured at our offices with access limited to staff who need them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — please do not email us copies of your ID or other sensitive documents.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. One limit applies to everyone: we cannot delete transaction records or seller identification that we are legally required to retain.

Children

Our services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. We do not purchase items from minors.
